Cookie notice

Last updated 15 August 2026

A cookie is a small text file a browser can store. This site is static. It does not run a marketing pixel of our own. It does remember, if you choose, whether you accepted or rejected cookies, and the host or font provider may set cookies as described below.

Types we use

Essential cookies are limited to recording your consent choice so the banner does not return on every page load. If you reject, the site still works; we simply do not treat that choice as consent for optional storage. We do not currently run a separate analytics cookie. If that changes, this table will be updated before any such cookie is set.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
releasepathcore_cookie_consent Stores Accept or Reject so the banner can stay hidden Until you clear site data Releasepathcore (localStorage in your browser)
Fonts session cookies (if any) Delivery of Fraunces and Public Sans from Google Fonts Set by the font provider; often session or up to two years for preference cookies they control Google Fonts

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear stored data for this site in your browser settings, which will show the banner again. Browser controls can block third-party cookies. Blocking Google Fonts may cause the pages to fall back to system typefaces; the text remains readable.

Third-party cookies

Embedded photographs are loaded from Unsplash. Unsplash may receive the image request, including your IP address, and may set its own cookies according to its policies. We do not control those cookies. The Veve link is an ordinary outbound link; this site does not set a cookie for Veve.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting or clearing consent storage does not hide briefings, rates, field notes, or legal pages. You may see the banner again. Image or font third parties may still receive requests unless you use browser blocking.

Personal data connected to logs and correspondence is described in the Privacy Policy.
